The Yueyang Forest & Paper Technology Building Laboratory serves as a core research facility supporting advanced material innovation and low-carbon technology development within the paper and biomass industries.

Completed in August 2025, the Technology Building Laboratory is part of the headquarters research complex of Yueyang Forest & Paper, a central state-owned listed enterprise with its origins dating back to the Yueyang Paper Mill established in 1958. The facility functions as a key platform for scientific research and technological advancement within the group.

The laboratory focuses on three major research directions: specialty paper development, low-carbon technologies, and biomass utilization. Research activities cover a range of advanced fields, including nanomaterials, chemical mechanical pulping, and carbon sink accounting, providing strong technical support for sustainable innovation and industrial upgrading.
